I feel a couplet coming on.

Was redoing my sigs on my fastmail account. Put down ICQ, AIM, yahoo, etc. (I use trillian), phone number, web site, and then ... "Cellular: None, nenhum!"

Up to now, I have successfully avoided getting a cell phone.

Vicki and I went out to lunch last Wednesday at the veggie place, there was a lady there who went through the line getting her food with a cell phone stuck to her ear. We sat down, Vicki looked over, and the phone was still glued to the side of her head. I suspect she was leaving there to have it surgically removed.

I may eventually get a cell phone, I won't say I won't, but if I do, I'll probably carry it around turned off.

I was gone a good part of the day yesterday, hence no post. Fastmail.fm was off the air yestidy mo'ning, quite a rare thing for them, and all the more frustrating.

A recent exchange with a good man under duress reminded me how many people around me struggle with difficulties and trials, and I never know it. They hold up so well, show cheerfulness, help others, and never moan about their personal circumstances. I need to pray for those!
