Today I am releasing the brakes of my life and allowing God to take over the controls.

If you have driven a car you will have at some time experiences driving behind someone who is always on their brake. They hit the brakes at every turn in the road and in anticipation of every danger. They need their brakes replaced more frequently than the average driver because they are excess brake users. In fact, They are brake lovers!

You may know some people in your life (or it may even be you) who use their brakes excessively in their walk with Christ. They start off on the walk and say they are committed to Him. They may have the right intention, but not soon after they get started on the journey they apply the spiritual brakes! It is as if they have a fear of getting too close to God. They fear what may happen should they run right into Him! After all, they may lose control and he may take over as driver of their lives.

You may have been applying the brakes on your journey with Christ. Now you know that you can fearlessly surrender and leave the driving to Him.
