I'm getting ready to travel in a few weeks, and I'll be out of pocket for nearly two months. So I'm gradually unsubscribing to nearly everything.

But some big-time zines have the dorkiest unsub procedures. They often don't show which email address you're subbed with. Sure, I ought to remember, but how many email addresses do you have, and can you, off the top of your head, remember what you're subscribed to with which address?

I can't even remember all my user names and passwords since I kicked out Gator. Though I have been trying to write them all down.

Anyway, this ezine consumer sent one little suggestion to Big-Time Editor. Maybe if enough people complain, they'll buy some decent mail management software or services.

How about including in the ezine somewhere the email address of the individual subscriber? Say, as in the header?

I've been trying for an hour to unsubscribe, and, since I use a dozen different addresses, I have yet to figure out which one is subscribed to XYZine.

That's a bad flaw in your software.

I will be traveling for two months. And if I ever manage to unsubscribe, I will think twice about resubbing.

I suppose it was bound to happen. And it's probably not any worse than any of the other popular presentations of Jesus. You have a whole "product line" with the action Jesus plastered on shirts, cups, caps and whatnots.

So why aren't I buying?
