You'll readily recognize the reference to 1 Peter 5.8, but did you catch the tinge of James 4.7-10?

One of my Cloud Couplets showed up on Daily Wisdom's page of Famous quotations and favorite quotes. My rhyme must fit in the latter category.

What? Which one is it? Go see for yourself! Oh, it's the next-to-last quote, as of today.

to doubt that miracles exist,

On a discussion forum today, the moderator posted this quote by Albert Einstein:

     "There are only two ways to live your life.
     One as though nothing is a miracle. The other
     is as though everything is a miracle."

While neither the German genius nor my humble quatrain above use the world "miracle" in the strict biblical sense, we may use it in the popular sense of that which God wonderfully performs.

I did this little piece of doggerel on a poetry forum. I don't like to add my name all the time to my poetry and other entries, since I assume people know it's mine. But last week a lady asked me if a poem I'd posted to a forum was mine. Oops! I suppose what's obvious to me is not always so to others. Wonder why?
